Skill Definition: Surgery is the ability to treat internal wounds and damage by carefully applied incisions and sealants.

Common Uses: Doctors on both sides of the river practice surgery; however, Petakovan doctors are highly limited in comparison to Stocklin doctors, lacking modern diagnostic and surgical equipment. Therefore surgery is far more advanced in Stocklin.

Rule Notes: Surgery is used to treat wounds that are cuts or laser fire; blunt trauma is covered by Trauma Medicine, burns by Nursing for the long-term care required.
Common Modifiers: As a medical skill, Surgery receives a bonus of +1 when within a modern medical facility.
