Skill Definition: Painting is the ability to, with oil, acrylics, watercolor or other 'wet' media, translate a desired image or form from the mind to the page.

Common Uses: Painting is the highest art in Titania, so much as such things are distinguished; higher-ranking Petakovans often have formal paintings done of themselves, whereas Stockliners tend to go in for formal photographs. That doesn't make painting a Petakovan-only art, however; it may be somewhat disapproved-of as a career choice, but it sees use on both sides of the river.

Rule Notes: Painting may be rolled to demonstrate how good a work is, if a benchmark is important; for casual play, however, whether to roll or not is up to the artist's discretion.
