The World Devourer, Voltumnus's Serpent, Ouroboros is as much legend as fact.

Outside of the walls, in a location that has never been identified on any of Titania's maps, the Plain of a Thousand Flowers offers its beauties to the sky. This nigh-mythological field has only been seen twice in Titania's history, both of its discovers too addled from the sight to pinpoint its location.

Under this Plain is where the Ouroboros sleeps, according to the legend that has sprung from the two soldiers' testimony.

Physical Description

The first soldier to see the Ouroboros was centuries ago, around 300 AT; he reported a great worm, unfathomable in size, plunging forth from the ground. Its length was bedecked with prehensible tentacles, which seized a wandering neta and hauled in it to be messily and swiftly devoured.

The second soldier, returning around 600 AT, reported no sight of the worm itself; but the tentacles, grown massive as tree-trunks, seized and devoured his entire platoon as they lay napping within the pleasant field of intoxicating flowers.

Magical Properties

It is suspected that if the tales are to be trusted, the Ouroboros is a master of biomancy and perhaps illusion, sculpting the Plain to lure the weary in from miles around.

Habitat

Should the Ouroboros exist, it has only been seen in its mythical field.

Danger Level

Incalculable.
