Murple

Named for the gentle little 'murp' sound it makes, the Murple is a common sight in the shallow waters near Titania. A few have been captured by those with more time and money, but these are generally kept away from such things as small children.

Physical Description
About as big as a medium-sized dog, this squid-like beast bears incredibly soft medium-length fur, which can come in many different colors, large gold-on-black eyes, and 20 3-foot-long tentacles covered in small fibers that it uses to help grasp onto things. Its oral cavity is located on top of its head, and is incredibly hard to see when closed.
Magical Properties
Some moderate control over water magic, which they can use to propel themselves or send jet streams at attackers.
Habitat
The murple is an amphibious creature, living in the shallows of the Carinac Sea. It is most often encountered in tidal pools near the Stoneshore district of Stocklin or the Seaview district of Petakova, where it hunts small crustaceans and fish.
Danger Level
Low, unless threatened or mishandled, when it becomes slightly more dangerous. It normally scavenges for food, but has been known to gnaw on a foot or arm that came carelessly close.
