Skill Definition: Masking is the knowledge of various techniques that allow one to hide one's address/location on a communications network.

Common Uses: Masking is used by hackers who need to be protected from identification in their various illegal endeavors; it is also occasionally used by legitimate individuals working in the University and for the Militia, trying to investigate said hackers.
