House Stocklin is one of the two major noble houses that controls the city of Titania.

Overview
Ruling the east side of the city, House Stocklin has repudiated Celestians and magic due to the negative effect they have on technology. Due to this decision, the House has become the technological hotspot of Titania, featuring a vast array of futuristic gadgets and a strong focus on innovation.
Heraldry
House Stocklin takes its heraldry from one of its early triumphs; the Gray Owl, a genetically modified version of a native bird of prey that has been entirely domesticated to serve the house.
Role in Government
House Stocklin fills four of the ten seats of the High Council at any given time. One of its members might also be the Prime Minister, giving the House as many as five votes.
Structure
House Stocklin recognizes five separate ranks in its power structure.
Essen is the lowest rank, representing individuals who have been adopted into the House due to great potential, but have yet to complete any particular deed. These Essen are nobility only in name, enjoying little more than social courtesy from their inferiors in way of rights and responsibilities.
Luten is the next highest rank, representing individuals who have distinguished themselves, suggesting progression into the true power structure of the House. Usually they serve various functions in the civil service or bureaucracy.
Manda is the next highest rank. 12 of the Mandas serve as the Board of Directors for the University of Stocklin, Titania's higher learning institute for technical and scientific studies. However, there are many other Mandas that these twelve are appointed from; any Luten with sufficient technical skill to merit their own laboratory receives a promotion to Manda and leadership over a research team.
Hapta is the highest rank held by more than one person, consisting of four individuals- one for each of Stocklin's main districts. These four are tasked with insuring the health and safety of their respective areas, and also sit on the High Council as Stocklin's representation.
Above all is the single Amera, elected by consensus of all nobility in House Stocklin. The Amera serves as the head of house, making any decision that concerns Stocklin's future as a whole. The current Amera of House Stocklin is Isabelle Stocklin.
Values
House Stocklin is logically primarily dedicated to the survival of its citizens. However, shortly behind that technological acumen is prized. Both reliable crafters and brilliant inventors can receive accolades, though innovation is likely to gain more praise (and funding!) Little emphasis is put among its citizens on decorum and appropriate behavior; so long as the work gets done, nobody much worries about the rest. In fact, the higher-ups of Stocklin often tend to be rather quirky... the technical brilliance they revere goes hand in hand with unusual personality types.
