Csitan Tree

The csitan is a breed of tree never successfully cultivated within Titania's walls, and only found as ancient monsters outside it. Never once has anybody found a sapling, though the seeds are not difficult to obtain from the tree's fruit. As a consequence, not much is known about this giant.

What is known is that the csitan is an incredibly slow-growing, but durable tree. At a guess, those found outside the walls are well over several centuries old. Exact age is hard to tell without cutting one down--which would be impossible given the interference of the beasts. Because of this, the csitan is a very rare tree.

The only known csitan trees exist in the Maudhnait forest. While it's possible there are others, none have yet been discovered. The tallest known csitan measures about two hundred feet tall with a forty-foot diameter.
