Skill Definition: Cryptology is the ability to both encrypt and decrypt systems; the computerized version falls under Information Security, however.

Common Uses: Cryptology is used somewhat rarely; most people who study it are mathematicians who are occasionally borrowed to help the government/Militia out.

Rule Notes: Cryptology won't likely often be rolled; however, it can be a supplement of a PC's off-camera career and may have occasional plot uses.
Common Modifiers: Cryptology is typically rolled at 0, but should be modified for the complexity of the code when not used in opposed rolls.
