Basic Facts
Colloquial name: Avatar
Official name: Syntromancy
Most commonly used name: Avatar
Skill Definition: Avatar, also known as syntromancy (from the Greek for 'companion magic'), is the ability to control the minds of animals.
To control a beast, roll Avatar at the penalty mentioned on its page. If you succeed, you are able to make the beast do what you want for one round. (Roll BEFORE your pose, for obvious reasons!) You do not also act when you are using Avatar - only the beast does.
Common Uses: Avatar, by its very nature, has a lot of different uses; however, most of them are relatively simple. Fetch this, carry that, etc. The most common use, probably, is combat; a capable mage using Avatar is basically the equivalent of fighting two opponents at once.
