Skill Definition: Athletics is a catch-all skill for just about anything that tests one's physical prowess and isn't defined by a more specific skill in the system.
Common Uses: The most common uses, would be the following: running, swimming, jumping or climbing.
Rule Information
Rule Notes: Athletics can be generalized to a good deal of things, so long as there isn't already a skill existing for that specific act- a la Throwing or Acrobatics. Use your judgment, and if in doubt, ask a staffer!
Common Modifiers: Athletics is typically rolled at 0; however, the roll may be modified to reflect difficulty. A twenty-foot running start long jump might be a -1 or -2, whereas treading water in a still lake would be easy enough that no roll is even needed.
